              Greetings in the name of public service!

 

              In line with Deped mission and vision, MLGMNHS - Old Boso Boso Extension's mission is to provide students with basic skillwith skills, knowledge and values in order for them to become well- disciplined, patriotic and God loving citizens ready to meet the challenges of the rapdily changing society, with this, the vision of the school to be a performing institution with academically and globally competitive students will be of reality.

    

                        We also recognize the invaluable contributions of the stakeholders in the realization of its mission and vision.

Core Values

       

        Old Boso Boso is one among the progressive Sitios of barangay San Jose,

the largest barangay in Antipolo City. It is located at the foot of the mountain range

of Sitio Kaysakat atthe Eastern side, barangay Calawis on the Northern side and

Cabading on the Southern portion. It has a distance of more or less 20 kilometer

from the city proper. It has a total land area of 1,698 hectares and comprises of

more than 2,000 families. People are engage

primarily in farming as their source of living.

 

       Sitio Old Boso Boso can be reached by land transportation for 30 minutes.

Jeepneys  plying the area take until overnight ferrying commuters.

 

        In October 2001, Mr. Eligio S. Pagkalinawan the then principal of Old Boso Boso

Elementary School, wrote a letter addressed to Hon. Mayor Angelito C. Gatlabayan

the then city Mayor of Antipolo City requesting to open an extension high school in

this place due to the insistent demands of the parents of the elementary graduating

class. It was fortunately approved and on the first quarter of 2002, Ms. Melinda D. Gedang prepared all the necessary

documents needed for the establishment of Maximo L. Gatlabayan Memorial National High School-Old Boso Boso Extension.

 

           Maximo L. Gatlabayan Memorial National High School- Old Boso Boso Extension was temporarily housed in three classroom building of Old Boso Boso Elementary School with starting population of 87 freshmen students and 2 teachers, Mrs. Lucila Juayong and Ms. Christina Dimayuga on June 2002. The school is under the supervision of Dr. Adelina Cruzada, principal of Maximo L. Gatlabayan Memorial National High School (Main). Mr. Toribio V. Miraña was detailed as the first Teacher-In-Charge in this school on November 2004.

 

           The city government under the administration of Hon. Danilo O. Leyble constructed a two-storey eight classroom building on May 2009. MLGMNHS-Old Boso Boso Extension is now a complete high school and presently headed by Mr. Nixon C. Maximo as the new Teacher-In-Charge.
